Should have handled procurement of all types of Capital Item & Import Purchase Should have experience into vendor management & vendor development Should have effectively handled cost control & cost reduction Needs to have excellent negotiation skill Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Import as well as Domestic Purchase Handle the whole procurement cycle of including development of the purchase strategy, tender invitation, bid evaluation, negotiation, order execution, material follow-up for timely deliveries Responsible for Vendor selection, evaluation, development, relationship management visits and audits Technical and commercial discussion with Vendors Arranging the Inspection for Material Arranging Dispatch Clearance for Material to vendors Ensuring correct and timely delivery of material with necessary approvals and paper works Collecting purchase indent from site for Defective and Shortage material or Extra material Arranging the Service Engineer for Sites for Testing and Commissioning Maintaining the stock as per specifications SAP Exposure needed
