Job Summary: As a Quality Engineer with expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization adheres to the highest quality standards and continuously improves its processes. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving our Quality Management System, as well as assisting in product and process quality assurance activities. This position requires a strong understanding of quality principles, regulatory compliance, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • QMS Development and Maintenance:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100).
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay current with industry-specific regulations and standards to ensure the organization’s QMS remains compliant.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the QMS, such as streamlining procedures, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency.
  • Auditing and Documentation:
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the QMS.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the QMS, including procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Supplier Quality Management:
    • Collaborate with the procurement team to establish and maintain supplier quality requirements.
    • Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving:
    • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Training and Education:
    • Provide training and guidance to employees on QMS-related topics and quality principles.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the QMS.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to management.
  • Customer Focus:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture:
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality consciousness, and risk management throughout the organization.
