Position description:

- Leads complex negotiations of commercial and contractual deals for new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales objectives-

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads complex negotiations of commercial and contractual deals for new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales objectives-
  • Manages and drives the creation and assignment of sales goals, business retention goals, compensation plans, and travel expense budget
  • Provides mentoring and coaching to sales team on different levels
  • Identifies gaps in product knowledge, management, and sales skills within team
  • Ensures that team is aware of trends and responds to client/market demands with relevant products and services to drive revenue
  • Identifies product and market trends and ensures that sales teams are knowledgeable and conversant in them
  • Creates and nurtures high level strategic relationships and promotes S&P Global thought leadership to customer
  • Aligns sales strategy with that of S&P Global’s most important client base-

Educational qualifications preferred

  • Category: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree

Required work experience

  • Years of experience: 6 to 10
