Roles and Responsibilities


i. Formulating strategies for channel sales in consultation with his HOD, discussing these with channel sales partners & facilitating in deploying these in the assigned territory to ensure sustainable sales growth in assigned territory.

ii. Making annual, biannual, quarterly and monthly projections for targets for himself & his team.

iii. Assigning annual, biannual, quarterly and monthly targets to his team for all geographical territories in consultation with his HOD.

iv. Reviewing of monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual targets for all channel partners falling under the jurisdiction.

v. Capturing consumer preferences and market trends in strategizing for market segmentation, pricing strategies and for preferred product line.

vi. Managing introduction of new products through channel partners with adequate advertisement support from corporate office.

vii. Sustaining existing distribution network with effective backend support of supply chain for with sale stock, sales promotion material.

viii. Developing new territories and appointing new Dealers, DSDs & Distributors, after assessing their financial soundness & local networking.

ix. Making conscious efforts to improve product visibility, availability of POP material, & ensuring that dealers / retailers are having proper glow signboards, standees & price list.

x. Keeping a market watch gathering information concerning models, product features, pricing and sales strategy of competitors.

xi. Sharing market intelligence with his vertical head to modify the sale strategy deployed.

xii. Keeping close coordination with servicing department providing servicing support to the customers to facilitate growth in sales in his assigned territory.

xiii. Preparing daily, weekly and monthly MIS in terms of targets assigned and achieved and it sending it to HOD by 4th of every month

xiv. Undertaking any other activity as assigned by his HOD from time to time.



Desired Candidate Profile


a) Hands on experience into Channel Sales - Dealers & Distributor Network Building.

b) Minimum 10 Years + into Consumer Durable product sales.

c) Team Handling Skills

d) MBA

e) Good business understanding of the given region.
