Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • The Product Validation Engineer will work on system/validation-level engineering and problem analysis for off highway Electronic Control Units [ECUs].
  • Major tasks will include defining test specifications and use cases for system requirements and performing HIL & Vehicle level testing to make sure requirements are implemented correctly.
  • To work completely on validation test plans, timing, and reports.
  • To have strong vehicle ECUs experience, software, system, and functional testing, as well as some degree of hardware and software design experience.
  • Review and analyse product/Project requirements to design and develop testing artifacts and develop Design and Product Validation [DV /PV] plan.
  • Perform data analysis on test results and present to the development teams/ Supplier as required
  • Develop and release all relevant validation engineering deliverables in compliance with New Product Development Process
  • Support the design and development of test infrastructure hardware and software
  • Develop and maintain Timing Plans and open items lists for projects to meet project timing requirements.
  • Generate and maintain all necessary validation engineering documentation and data to ensure traceability and compliance to company procedures
  • Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated and certified according to the corresponding procedures.
  • Monitor Testing; Perform various product validation testing [Functional and Non-Functional]
  • Create, Review, Modify Test Reports.
  • Record test results and Execute Test Cycles in ALM Tools
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis of testing failures
  • Participate in product design review

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Automotive field
