Senior Scrum Master

As a SCRUM Master in the Cloud team, you will be responsible for contributing towards building best-in-class tooling to support our digital journey. We consider ourselves frontrunners and the team are leading the way in building a solid foundation for the digital future of MAERSK.

You will be part of the core Cloud team, an agile team building core capabilities on Cloud technology like Azure, GCP etc.. focus will be on time-to-market and accelerating the business in delivering digital innovation.

The team is directly aligned to the MAERSK Technology strategy and works to deliver our future platform, and as an accelerator for the entire organisation. As part of a new team you will be part of shaping your own role and have a direct impact on the delivery of our strategic goals.

A large degree of self-driven mind-set is needed. A combination of team coordination & productivity with good interpersonal skills is a must.

Coaching a team to effectively use agile methods to deliver value and improve continuously
Liaising with multiple stakeholders to manage work packages and ensure effective Lean and Agile processes
Promoting modern DevOps/SRE cultures and showcasing how these are effective to the business
Understanding the technologies used and coaching technical teams to deliver business value
Facilitating efficient agile ceremonies and providing valuable reports and metrics to assist in improvements in ways of working
Fostering a positive work environment and leading best practice and innovative techniques to always improve

8+ years’ experience with mature Agile and DevOps methodologies, processes and tooling and understanding of SRE principles
Excellent organisation skills with project and product management experience with development or operations teams
Experience and interest with modern technologies, application development lifecycles and operations support (CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Pair programming)
Experience working with Agile tooling including Azure DevOps, Jira, Git or Confluence
Proven ability to interact successfully with a variety of stakeholders and actively involved with the Scrum teams to achieve milestones and goals
Values metrics and uses data driven decisions to improve and create innovative solutions to deliver goals
Experience working with an entire delivery team, including; developers, support, BAs, business stakeholders to all levels, architects and test teams
Stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and resolve impediments
Shipping / Logistics Industry knowledge an advantage
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a high-performing business critical team and continually grow the culture and best practices
Proactive and entrepreneurial to find solutions to problems

Analytical and able to see trends and also know instinctively when something is not right
