Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT Inspection Technician to join our team for an upcoming Gail shutdown project. The NDT Inspection Technician will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on various equipment and components during the shutdown period. This role requires a thorough understanding of NDT techniques, equipment, and safety procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections using methods Like ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), liquid penetrant testing (PT) and Hardness Testing.
  • Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine the presence of defects, discontinuities, or anomalies in materials or structures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASNT, API, ASTM) during inspection procedures.
  • Participate in pre-shutdown planning meetings to coordinate inspection schedules, resource allocation, and logistical arrangements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior technicians and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or relevant coursework preferred.
  • ASNT Level II Certificate in one or more NDT methods
  • Proven experience performing NDT inspections in Shutdown within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation sectors.
