Job Role:

• The Business Intelligence and Analytics Analyst is responsible for publishing business reports to Sales, Sales Ops and Corporate stakeholders on key business Metrics to enable on-demand decision making.
• The Analyst would work with business stakeholders to conceptualize Business Intelligence solutions, gather requirements and build dashboards.
• The Analyst will own data quality metrics and strive for integrity between various metrics.
• The Analyst will need to acquire data from primary and secondary data sources, pull data from various systems including data warehouses and help ensure accurate representation of business performance metrics.
• The Analyst would develop knowledge of the domain and liaise with business partners in the capacity of a subject matter in their respective area.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Analyze large pools of complex data and develop dashboards in BI to discover trends, patterns, correlations that will assist managers in making better business decisions.
• Maintain data cleanliness, accuracy and integrity from various data sources to support stakeholders in driving business decisions.
• Responsible for exploratory data analysis and reviewing information to build reports.
• Generate SQL statements to accurately manage complex data and structures within the database.
• Collaborate with Business Process Architect and Lead Analyst to create/amendjobsin database server and conduct code review to optimize operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve anomalies in data and report output.
• Support Sales and Finance organizations to provide analytical reporting, visualization and data inputs.
• Present findings and recommendations to enable proactive business decisions and/or react quickly to changes in the business environment.
• Master system workflows and data hierarchy.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of overall professional work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or an MBA from a recognized university with 3 years or experience.
• Education and experience in information science, data management, business analytics, computer science or related field preferred.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in data analysis or data management preferred.
• Significant experience in extracting and transforming large volumes of data.
• Prior experience in data quality management a strong plus.
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to see how details fit the larger picture.
• Understanding of and experience with relational databases, SQL and Python (a plus).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good problem solving, conceptual thinking abilities and quantitative / analytical skills.
• Strong time-management skills and ability toworkwith tight deadlines & ambiguity.
• Intermediate experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, etc.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems, preferred Oracle and Salesforce.
