We are currently looking to hire a Senior/Staff(or Principal)Engineer into our Product Engineering Characterization team a part of the larger Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) group, at Micron Technology Inc. This senior rolewill be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of engineers that will test, characterize, validate and deliver leading-edge flash memory products. Role also involves determining test strategies and characterization methodologies for 3D NAND products, with special focus on high frequency digital circuits and data path.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working on NAND flash memory and experience with 3D NAND products.
  • Good communication and organizational skills along with ability to work well in a team environment across geographies is a requirement. Experience with Provide Technical Training and mentoring engineers.
  • A thorough understanding of NAND datasheet, characterization test methodologies, NAND product architecture, features and command sets. Debug and configure the silicon to ensure it meets product expectation
  • Experience with design/validation of data path, speed parameters and high frequency digital circuits is required.
  • Statistical analysis skills and ability to use those results to help design teams resolve issues quickly
  • Understanding of C/C++ Object Oriented Programming & Perl/Python scripting
  • Understanding quality and reliability testing is a plus.
  • Partner with other Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing groups to develop and ship a successful product
Education/Experience:
Position requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience (or bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience).
Course work or work experience in VLSI, Digital circuits, CMOS process/fabrication, C/C++, and statistics is required.
