Looking for a new challenge? A vacancy for a Wide connectivity Technical Specialist has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in India. You will join DINW – Connectivity department to make Technology Services the best enabler of all Airbus Divisions (Commercial Aircraft, Defence & Space and Helicopters) competitiveness. Wide connectivity is more and more essential and at the heart of Airbus Transformation delivering efficient worldwide connectivity with reduced lead time, high speed and scalability through easy upgrades. The only way for the infrastructure team to deliver the connectivity on time and on quality is to automatize the activities & use relevant new connectivity solutions.

As a Wide connectivity Technology Specialist, you will provide comprehensive guidance on architecture and solution design for these use cases, as well as to shape the further evolution of our Digital Platform in its various dimensions. Airbus business is expecting speed, agility and flexibility when buying/building new applications.

You will design & build reliable services to enable business teams to deliver efficient Products via automated and secured solutions. As Technology Specialist you would be working mainly on Industrial topics as well as on Cloud ensuring smooth transformation without impacting Airbus products availability.

Airbus needs to, on board people with proven experience on new state of the Art Connectivity technology, i.e. new concepts/ protocols/technologies enabling Digitalization and Flexible ICT used by the leading edge Digital companies. You strongly contribute to the transformation of Airbus IT, by influencing culture change and establishing new ways of working.

Qualifications & experience :

• Graduate or Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology,

• 4-6 years of experience in WAN management

• Certifications in the network technologies will have added advantages like CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CompTIA Network+, Juniper, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), and Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA).

• Proven experience of designing, building and deploying network solutions, both from scratch and migrating on-premises and cloud applications.

• Exposure in the following technical areas will have added advantage : DevOps, Splunk, ElasticSearch, Docker, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven

Must have skills :

• Routing (BGP / OSPF) (e.g. Cisco/Arista/fortinet)

• CCNP level minimum / WAN features L2 & L3 (DMVPN / FLEXVPN / MPLS / VRF)

• Internet & Cloud connectivity (DIA, IXP – Internet Based (Private & Public solutions), Cloud Broker, AWS, Office365, Google, Netskope/Zscaler)

• Scripting and automation experience: Programming (ie: Python…); Automation (ie: API usage)

• Ability to detail a migration plan and a Low Level Design document

• Experience in WAN optimisation or SDN, SDWAN is a plus.

Good to have skills:

• Any additional expertise or knowledge of additional tools/software but not mandatory

• Service Now experience

• Working experience on Ansible, Cloud vision, Zabbix

• French knowledge will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, publishing, supporting and operating cloud applications

• Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions

• Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of applications across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production

• Coaching, mentoring and enabling other developers.

• Monitor the technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment

• Have full accountability for WAN services design to help deliver the WAN Network SLA

• Manage WAN technical risks assessment

• Define mitigation plan to avoid impact on Airbus group end-users world wide connectivity availability or delivery

• Propose Innovative solutions for competitiveness (cost reduction and WAN & cloud connectivity solutions efficiency increase)

• Manage project activities (including internal and external staff) looking for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of the infrastructure systems to meet customer requirements and drive convergence across Airbus Group divisions.

• Drive global WAN service evolution making best use of Business services on the WAN & Cloud solutions for all Airbus Divisions and Partners.
