An Associate Principal Analyst aligned with Digital Sustainability will conduct research and analysis covering critical issues, solutions and capabilities for multiple industry topics and related technologies/vendors. Delivering advice, and guidance to our research and advisory clients through published research, conversations with clients (Inquiry), teleconferences, and client meetings. In addition, w ork with a cross-industry community of the world’s most influential supply chain practitioners and leading Gartner analysts .

What You’ll Do
  • Work with a cross-industry community of the world’s most influential supply chain practitioners and leading Gartner analysts.
  • Develop and contribute to our research our how digital technology is enabling sustainability performance within the enterprise. Focussing specifically on technology for environmental issues, from GHG emission to circular economy
  • Lead research studies on the types of digital technologies being used to enable the sustainability strategy not only for supply chain, but also executive leaders.
  • Understand, profile and engage with vendors to profile and benchmark their offering enabling clients to make informed decisions.
  • Combine actionable insights with compelling research to support key roles including Executive Leaders, Chief Supply Chain Officer and Chief Information Officer.
  • Enable the publication content based on fact-based impactful research that is used by our clients to enable learning and advance their mission critical priorities
  • Engage with clients through inquiry, sharing the most relevant and impactful insights to enable our clients to meet their mission critical priorities.
  • Lead or participate in research community meetings to discuss research issues and collaborate effectively with peers
  • Establish credibility as a thought leader representing Gartner’s research methodology and strategies
What You’ll Need

  • Located in India.
  • Demonstratable quantitative and qualitative research experience, resulting in positive client or stakeholder impact.
  • Understanding of digital and sustainability issues.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of an organization on supply chain and business issues.
  • Ability to represent and defend analysis.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills. Written work must be concise and persuasive.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills; applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns and drawing and defending conclusions.
  • The candidate must be a strategic and critical thinker, able to efficiently multitask, and to deliver high quality actionable advice on time through a variety of media. The candidate must demonstrate a self-motivated work ethic but also be collaborative within geographically diverse team environment.
  • Strong project planning and management skills with a strong team-working ethos.
