Role Description:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss project progress and address any issues.
  • Site Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations at the construction site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise the use of machinery, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Quality Control:

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests as required to verify compliance.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Resource Management:

  • Coordinate the allocation of resources such as labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor resource usage and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and equipment on-site.
  • Progress Reporting:

  • Keep detailed records of project activities, including daily progress reports, material quantities, and labour hours.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for project stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of objectives and tasks.
  • Address any concerns or conflicts that arise during the project and work towards resolution.
  • Problem Solving:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may affect project progress or quality.
  • Develop and implement solutions to overcome challenges and minimise disruptions.
  • Seek input from project team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Working Conditions:

  • Civil Site Supervisors typically work outdoors at construction sites, where they may be exposed to various weather conditions and physical hazards.
  • The role may involve frequent travel to different project sites, depending on the scope and location of projects.
  • Qualifications:

    • Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision
