v To liaison between patient and various departments of the hospital for service requirements.

v To handle patient complaints and ensure remedial actions are taken within the stipulated time.

v To provide periodical report to the manager on the patient complaints/feedback and action pending status.

v To support PR activity at other units of the hospital as and when needed.

v To maintain cordial relationship with other departments and promote teamwork.

v To activity take part in the functions/celebrations organized by the hospital.

v To participate and contribute to department quality initiatives.

v To be aware of departments performance and objective

v To carryout data collection / support in data collection and record maintenance.

v To maintain assigned tasks, reports and analysis by reporting to the manager periodically.

v To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.

v To ensure trained/oriented about the quality systems of the department and follow the training requirements of the organization and department.

v Adhere to all organizational policies.

v To perform any service oriented job / task when assigned by the superior.

v To coordinate with internal and external teams and processes for comfort of Patients

v Maintain and Monitor discharge TAT for IP Patients.

v In the manager’s absence attend to irate patients.

v To prepare shift wise job rota and ensure proper coverage in all areas

v Coordinating with doctors for their requirement

v Consolidating day to day cash & submitting to A/C

v To ensure appointments are rescheduled effectively in case of last moment information for doctors unavailability

v Coordinating, for patient admission

v To ensure department indents are maintained and ordered and brought from stores on a timely basis

v To participate in meetings and briefings.

In India, we have 13 hospitals spread across Kerala (5 hospitals) with our flagship Aster Medcity Hospital at Kochi, Bangalore (2 hospitals Aster CMI & Aster RV) + 1 upcoming (Mother & Child), 1 in Hyderabad (Aster Prime), 1 in Kolhapur (Aster Aadhar) and 4 in Andhra Pradesh ( under Aster Ramesh Hospital 2 in Vijayawada, 1 in Guntur and 1 in Ongole). Most of our hospitals are NABH accredited with Medcity n Aster Ramesh (Guntur) JCI accredited.

In terms of revenue, we are USD 1.14 Bn company in which India contributes 17% and rest by GCC as of FY’19. Going forward we are also venturing into Pathology business (Aster Labs) by April’2020 n Pharmacy business in Jan ’21 apart from 3 new hospitals in next 3 years in India.
We have Centre of Excellence across various specialties like Neurosciences, Cardiac Sciences, Integrated Liver Care, Orthopaedics, Onco, Gastro, Nephro, etc. in most of our hospitals. In summary, most of our hospitals are tertiary and quaternary care setups. Kerala with 4 hospitals and 1 educational institute forms a cluster, Bangalore with 2 hospitals + 1 hospital in Kolhapur forms another cluster and Andhra+Telangana another cluster.
