We are looking for an experienced L2 SUPPORT ENGINEER who has worked on AWS platform support work.


*REMOTE JOB* (WORK FROM HOME )


Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications hosted on AWS Cloud including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation. Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Cloud Administration team members. Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members and or acting as a subject matter expert. In depth Functional knowledge of the application(s) supported and inter dependencies

  • The ability to effectively multi-task and juggle priorities.
  • Excellent written/communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • The ability to communicate and empathize with all levels of customers, executives, end users, and developers.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration, including networking.
  • Knowledge of MySQL / MariaDB or other object-relational databases.
  • A strong work ethic, the ability to keep complex tasks organized, and an amazing attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Quickly responds to incident alerts and support calls. Identifies, and coordinates with teams that are critical to the events resolution.
  • Executes automated and manual smoke tests following maintenance and outage recovery periods.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • 5+ years supporting applications on AWS.
  • Experience with VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, CW, CF, ELB, ASG, EFS, EBS, WAF is mandatory.
  • Experience with Networking & Firewalls (Packet Filter, ALCs, SMTP, DNS)
  • Apache / Nginx web server administration
  • Excellent English communication Skills
  • Willing to work in rotational shifts or as required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to capture and articulate technical and non-technical details.
