Title: Lead Associate - Vendor Management

Years of experience: 4-6 Years

Location: Pune

Job Purpose Statement

Plan, organize and direct the technical purchasing function, vendor evaluation, vendor management and governance. Lead the contract consultation and negotiation services including contract reviews, analysis, negotiation and contract lifecycle management for the Company’s products and services. Interface with vendors for the procurement and management of data circuits

Key Responsibilities

Order and manage delivery of network circuits.

Build and maintain records for both new and existing circuits

Manage and mange external vendor relations within Operations Department.

Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.

Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance.

Conduct Weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly reviews with suppliers to discuss performance and improvement opportunities.

Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required.

Stimulate steady process enhancement to present increasing operational efficiency in entire business partner processes.

Identify and implement continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management plus produce fulfillment.

Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Company’s values.

Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge)

Minimum of 5 years in buying, account management, product management, project management, financial analysis and/or marketing

Minimum of 2 years negotiation experience

Strong Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Excel

Strong adherence to contract management policies and procedures while producing quality and accurate work within established timeline

Skills and Behavioral Competencies

Strong interpersonal skills to interact with multiple stakeholders and vendors to achieve objectives

Ability to assess, identify and mitigate risk issues early in the contract management process, including the proper management of such risks

Demonstrates strong communication skills that engage and motivate others

Draws upon strong analytical ability to build clear yet stretching solutions
