Job Purpose

Responsible for managing IBMS and DCIM systems of critical facilities like Data Center and Telecom Facilities, which includes FAS, Fire detection system, FSS, VESDA, WLD, RRS, PAS, CCTV, Third party integrations like UPS, Electrical Panels, Transformers, PDU, Energy Meters, Chillers, PAHU, Sensors etc… Candidate should have extensive exposure in above systems and proven track record.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team for BMS graphics, dashboard, project execution to delivery stage

• Responsible for validation of project implemented at site w.r.t design document

• Coordinate with design team for design review of IBMS, Fire & Safety Systems

• Coordinate with project team for successful completion of testing & commissioning, IST activities

• Responsible for Quality assurance and Quality control

• Network infra planning and support for execution of BMS network w.r.t design and industry best practice

• Responsible for identifying improvements to the existing BMS/DCIM systems proactively

• Vast knowledge in BMS IT network

• Responsible for ensure network redundancy and knowledge on L2, L3 switches.

• Responsible for creating dashboards and daily/weekly report using BMS and DCIM system

• Coordinate with OEMs/Vendors to upkeep the high availability of systems

• Responsible for analyzing the fault through BMS and handling Incident management, Change Management

• Responsible for event analyzing and provide technical inputs for preparing RCA

• Analyzing Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports, Trends and identify the abnormalities in the systems

• Responsible for providing technical advice and input on BMS continuous improvement opportunity

• Audit Handling and Risk Management

• SOP, EOP, MOP and checklist preparation for all IBMS system

• SLA & KPI review with OEM

• Coordination with customers for their specific requirement and implementing the same

• Coordination for ticketing tools, Asset management tools and VMS tools

• Responsible for training to site team

• Coordination for audits and compliance requirement

• Developing and implementing strategies and long-term objectives for cost saving opportunities

• Knowledge in Tier topology and various configurations of Data center electrical infra

• Manage 24x7 operation of BMS and DCIM team

• Manpower /resources planning and deployment

Educational Qualifications

Diploma/BE/B-Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communications Engg/Computer Science Engg.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required)

• 8-12 Years of relevant hands-on experience in design & implementation/managing Data Center and critical Telecom/IT facilities

• Should have experience of read/modify AutoCAD layouts of Fire & Safety systems

• Multiple vendor handling experience

• Ability to handle multiple assignments
