Manager, Demand and Supply Planning

JOB PURPOSE

• Lead SCM Planning function for FF by ensuring supply & demand plans are met as per S&OP, identifying improvement areas & looking for ways to improve the performance in line with the business strategy.
• Lead Inventory management following the laid out principles & ensure no stock outs for MTIs.
• Establish the link between planning process with services strategy by developing guidelines supporting the business needs and improving customer satisfaction.
• Lead all initiatives to develop and implement analytical and reporting supply chain tools to track and monitor the KPI’s (e.g. MEF, DT1P, inventory days, planning accuracy, etc.) for better performance.
• Coach the team to get the best out of them by leveraging their strength & addressing improvements areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with demand & supply planner to come up with a robust fulfillment plan for the agreed S&OP volumes.
• Lead efforts to respond to unforeseen supply and demand disruptions by developing risk & abatement plan.
• Lead Inventory management for SPAC following its laid out principles. Applying statistical tools on the available data, come up with optimum levels for RM, ROH & FG & lead its replenishment working with cross functional teams.
• Lead MTI/MTA/MTIZ inventory replenishment for make-sell and buy-sell. Convert S&OP at grade color to item level considering historical sales.
• Identify & implement strategies to ensure AFGs are not more than 10% of the total inventories in FGs & RMs. Work cross functional to identify suitable actions.
• Lead efforts to streamline order management. Ensure adherence to already defined guidelines by inside sales & logistics wrt the order management addressing challenges being faced.
• Leads all initiatives to develop and implement analytical and reporting supply chain tools to track and monitor the KPI’s (e.g.MEF, DT1P, inventory days, planning accuracy, etc.) for better performance.
• Ensure all planning related master data are up to date.
• Collaborate with Sourcing to ensure FF needs are captured & considered while fulfilling sourcing activities facilitating smoother operations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Supply Chain Management or Business Management.
• 10 years related working experience
• At least 5 years SCM operations experience in planning
• Experience in logistics or warehouse management is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve business problems
• Proven ability to work with, and communicate at all levels of the business.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs
