About the Role | Senior Consultant / Consultant - Business Development

A Senior Consultant/ Consultant will be an integral part of Sattva’s CSR Sales team with a strong focus on growing business in North India, targeting high growth industry sectors and PSUs.

The role entails the following:

  • Developing the overall business for the Northern/ Southern region.
  • Develop measurable strategic and operational plans based on the overall Business.
  • Development strategy to track sales performance and present realistic revenue forecasts.
  • Achieving growth and meeting sales targets by onboarding new customers and thinking innovatively on building a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build strong lasting relationships with customers as a trusted partner and work closely with delivery team to meet the needs of the customer.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status in the region.
  • Represent Sattva at key forums, conferences, events to build our network and generate potential leads.
  • Work with the National head to develop the key account strategy for the region.
  • Work with cross functional teams including marketing, delivery teams to develop proposals/ pitches for new opportunities.
  • Strengthen our Market Intelligence by tracking and sharing insights.

Key Accountabilities

  • Impact top-line of organization (revenue targets achieved).
  • Key customer relationships built High Impact, longer term clients.
  • Number of new leads generated and new customers onboarded.
  • Ensuring all diverse product and service offerings from Sattva are offered in the market.
  • Engaging strategically with high growth industry sectors.

Critical requirements for the role (Must-Haves)

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consultative sales and B2B sales with the ability to build customer relationships.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and client interaction in any sector.
  • Keen interest in social impact sector (previous experience in the sector is an advantage but not a necessity).
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred requirements (Nice to Haves):

  • Knowledge of development landscape in India and across the world.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power-Point) and social networking applications.
