What you’ll be doing

The HiNext Specialist serves as the subject matter expert on Workday able to support the implementation of Workday for group companies. This role is highly analytical and front facing for GBS in providing support to primary stakeholders and the business in general. As a Workday SME, the HiNext Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and testing of Workday.

We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision. Some of the skills and experience we look for includes:

  • Demonstrate expertise an ownership for the configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and testing of the Workday stream for GBS
  • Works with and provides primary support for stakeholders and support vendors to define, implement, and maintain Workday configurations and workflows for supported modules
  • Have strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs in order to support the Service Management team with customer satisfaction
  • Assists Service Management team and COE with the research, planning, and testing of major Workday system enhancements and miscellaneous updates
  • Serve as project lead on new Workday configurations and enhancements; responsible for project design and ownership from beginning to end
  • Look beyond requirements to offer solutions that both meets customer needs and considers audience, performance, and usability
  • Staying updated with Workday releases and roadmap and identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve business processes
