About the department

Global Information Technology (IT) India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in Head Quarter. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 300+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to ’manage’ IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.

The position

The position holder is responsible for broad range of system management activities. While you are expected to work within a group acting as a team-player you would also need to work independently on the following tasks such as system migration/upgrades and troubleshooting. You will have close interaction with end-users throughout Novo Nordisk, understand business processes and be able to communicate highly complex issues in a non-technical way.

This person is responsible for Coordinating with service providers/vendors to ensure a stable operation of the platform, provide support to system/ application hosted on the platform and support developers running applications on the platform.

Moreover, person should be coordinate and execute software updates, migration, change/release and license management activities. You will also provide technical and functional support for the Business Object platform.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a proven track record with experience of technical support in the infrastructure space related to Cloud based platforms (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and has experience in GxP related to system compliance and validation
• Graduate in Computer Science or relevant field with 8-10 years of total experience.
• Well versed with configuring/troubleshooting Windows Server 2016 and Apache TOMCAT Web Server.
• Experience in SAP BO administration is a plus.
• Experience in communicating closely with our lines of business & third-party vendors.
