Roles and Responsibilities

oles and Responsibilities:Affinity is looking for an experienced Creative Mentor for one of our top 10 clients This position will manage a team of designers with a primary goal of a high degree of accuracy, creativity and quality for each design in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for designing, ideating, training, supervising, mentoring and the design quality of their team members on a day-to-day basis.Responsibilities:
  • Understanding the creative brief and converting it to actionable design output resulting in customer satisfaction based on their request
  • Overseeing and contributing to the development of required creative; managing and guiding the team on the same
  • Monitoring the designs and ensuring high level of creativity and quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Regular interaction with the designers, peer mentors, supervisors & managers contributing to the creation of strong concepts and following up on their execution
  • Design the web design layouts/ UI as and when required to guide and mentor the team.
  • Build, guide and lead an efficient team of designers, specializing in website design (UI) projects
  • Experience in grooming the designers along with creating of training materials along with executing them in regular intervals
  • Must have an understanding of operational skills to collaborate with the operations team and assist to the best of abilities
  • Should be able to manage a team of 25+ designers independently
  • Open to work in night/day (rotational) shifts as per the operational requirements
  • Evaluating and training designers.
  • Consistently meet the KRAs & KPIs (on Creativity, Quality, Training)
  • Attending client meetings.
  • Create and roll out action points for design escalations
  • Constantly stay updated and keep designers updated on best practices
Desired Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in UI Design at an agency/Digital agency/Corporate house.
  • Excellent knowledge of all graphic and web design application Software’s (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and hand’s on MS office.
  • Excellent understanding of web design principles and best practices.
  • Good Presentation Skills.
  • BFA/GD Art/ B. Design in advertising, fine art, Design or relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of design, marketing, and advertising concepts
  • Should be well versed with current design trends and open to upskill with ongoing design trends.
  • A people-person, capable of building strong professional relationships
  • Demonstrable website design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Excellent English comprehension skills to interpret client direction and expectations.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent at coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor/Mentor or in a similar creative role.
  • Ability to manage a group of team members independently.
  • Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
  • Individual contributor and team player.
  • Should have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in night shifts in a 24x7 work environment.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Should have a wired broadband connection of min 30+mbps speed.
