Join a global team of professionals that are designing, developing, implementing, and managing the IT Policies and Operating Procedures that define how the world-wide Agilent Technologies organization operates in compliance with external and internal regulatory and security IT requirements.

Agilent Technologies IT is globally aligned with COBIT5 and is looking for an IT professional with IT Compliance skills and experience. You will operate in a global environment and lead key organizational processes that ensure Agilent meets the IT compliance requirements from multiple Authoritative Sources. You will also lead and participate to initiatives that integrate the services you own into the evolving compliance requirements for Agilent.

You may be a member of teams that identify improvements opportunities, define the goals and deliverables, and implement them with internal partners and external vendors. You may contribute to the creation of new processes and solutions for IT Compliance, with a bias toward standardization, but also the creativity and willingness to integrate innovative approaches to solving problems.

Detailed Main Accountabilities
  • COBIT 5 process area owner:
    • Owns the Manage Operations process area (AIT-DSS01) and the Manage Security Services process area (AIT-DSS05)
    • Performs periodic SOP’s review and updates, review of Work Instructions with IT teams
    • Identifies and promotes process improvement opportunities
    • Drives the annual SoX walkthroughs preparation
    • Reviews SaaS vendors’ user access management controls and procedures (SSAE-16)
    • Manages the lifecycle of identified non-conformities: from detection to closure
    • Owns the Work Instructions Lifecycle coordination for all process areas
  • Key Business Flow lead – ISO27001
    • Stays current with ISO27001 regulatory requirements
    • Owns updates of the Integrated Control Matrix
    • Ensures IT controls meet ISO27001 requirements
    • Maintains the scope of ISO27001 IT environment
    • IT coordinator of ISO27001 audits
  • Monthly Monitoring control and IT Operational Testing process owner
    • Reviews scope with IT Teams
    • Reviews test results documentation and reach alignment with IT teams
    • Ensures test results are documented and findings/issues are managed
  • Application Compliance Attestation (ACA) service owner
    • Executes semi-annual ACA cycles for Agilent applications
    • Determines scope of each cycle
    • Owns the service roadmap
Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
  • Typically 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level. Post-graduate and/or certification/ license may be required.
  • Be able to take a leadership role in managing/driving to resolution job related issues and clearly communicate problems and severity.
  • Highly self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and proven judgment and prioritization abilities: autonomously drives to resolution
  • Understands and stays updated with industry best practices, selectively promotes adoption and foster a culture of speed, accountability and innovation
  • Demonstrates risk based approach: maximizes the results/efforts ratio and qualifies the associated risk
  • Basic project management skills
  • Must be willing to adjust hours of availability according to Agilent priorities in order to effectively cooperate in global teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills coupled with the ability to break down technical jargon into user-friendly language
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and establish teamwork with technical IT teams, as well as Internal Business Partners and Senior Managers.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of COBIT5, UCF or other compliance frameworks
  • Work experience in the areas of ownership
  • Demonstrated experience in interactions with Internal and External audits
