As the Corporate Applications IT Architect, you will be part of a high performance EAS Corporate Apps IT team. Corporate Apps includes Enterprise and business productivity applications used by various Agilent functions (viz. Sales, Field, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, Tax, WPS, SCQ & Legal, CIM, Fusion, Ariba, Incentive comp (ICM) and FileNet etc).

In this role, you will be the IT Architect primarily for developing Mendix based hybrid Applications and supporting it with the help of Agilent IT partners.

Your Primary Accountabilities Will Include

You will have interaction with Agilent IT management, Agilent business & functional teams along with external partner organizations.

• Development of Low code hybrid applications that can be accessed over all types of devices (PC, Tablets, Mobile) using leading technology platform Mendix hosted in AWS, Integrations with enterprise systems viz. Hana, HR, AD etc. Supporting these with Agilent IT partners
• Design and build solutions in adherence to the Agilent standards and processes and comply with the Security/ISRM controls and policies.
• involved in every step of the application software development process.
• Responsible for the architectural design and deployment of system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications in cloud.
• Sound knowledge of IT Project management activities including project scoping, estimation, planning, risk management, finalization of technical / functional specifications, resource administration & optimization, and quality management.
• Manage the enterprise wide programs for the Corporate Apps.
• Ensure business requirements are transitioned in to system requirements & use cases. Reduces broad business requirements into detailed IT architecture plans.
• Ensure compliance to release management,
• Ensure close coordination with the Project teams for weekend releases.
• Ability to interpret ambiguity, deliver results in high-pressure flux environments, mentor teams for flexibility much needed for dynamic business priorities.
• Good knowledge of all Security & Compliance Processes, Risk Management, Disaster Recovery & BCP planning, ITGC User Access, FDA & SOX Controls, Enterprise Change Management Process, Periodic Audits, Business Partner & Supplier Reviews, Application security & data privacy reviews
• Ensure proper support transition handoff and stabilization for all newly implemented solutions
• Coordinate with the cross functional teams like Infrastructure, Hosting, Database, Data Privacy & QA
• Resource Utilization, tracking and planning of the Vendor resources
• Strong problem solving & technical skills coupled with confident decision making for enabling effective solutions leading to high customer satisfaction and low operational costs
• Manage the financials and Vendor resources for the Projects being executed.
• Manage complex projects from start to finish inclusive of project planning, execution, tracking, facilitating technical/operational requirements identification and working with the IT department on projects with IT system delivery components.
• Manage changes to existing processes and systems by working with Agilent Business team and applications functional owners
• Technology and Subject Matter Acumen
• Good understanding and working experience in Agile/Scrum based application development
• Demonstrated hands on technology experience in at least one of the following areas – Low code application development (Mendix Preferred, K2, Outsystems, or similar) .net applications, Java applications, developing XSJS based web services and integration components for cloud based applications.
• SAP ERP or Hana integration experience will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of JIRA will be advantage
• Good understanding of creating & deploying hybrid applications in enterprise VPC environment (AWS/Azure preferred)
• Extensive experience working with outsourced delivery organizations for any of the above platforms
• Strong understanding of IT Application Management principles & architectures
  

Relationship Management

• Strong interpersonal relation building skill
• Established credibility & integrity in interaction with other Agilent personnel in support of business engagement & project management
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills and proven track record of successful engagement with Agilent businesses and functions
  

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, MCA or equivalent experience
• Min. 8+ years of IT Global experience of managing complex IT systems & support processes
• Prefer Hands on technical experience of IT components for Corporate Apps including exposure to manage Cloud applications
• Experience implementing and/or supporting Mendix or similar low code applications strongly preferred, for a global company
• Experience testing new integrated releases strongly desired.
  

Working knowledge of SAP Hana a plus.
