TIBCO’s Performance team in Pune is a part of TIBCO’s Products and Technologies Group. The team has the end-to-end responsibility for ensuring that our products are designed for the best performance. Our mission is to release value added products for our customers and ensure necessary support to our Engineering and product development teams. The Performance Engineer needs to have very strong Performance Engineering , Analysis skills along with good communication skills to work with all our internal and external customers.

Experience - 3 to 5 yrs

What You’ll Do

  • Performance test Case preparation and carrying out tests for medium to large scale distributed applications / cloud applications
  • Understanding product architecture to plan performance scenarios
  • Managing Performance Test Environments
  • Defining test configuration and designing load test scenarios
  • Developing test data and scripts and execute tests
  • Finding performance bottlenecks in application / products and follow up for fixing the issues
  • Writing test reports / best practices / guidelines with conclusions and recommendations that would help the developers / architects and users of the application

Who You Are

  • Good knowledge of Performance Engineering concepts like - Testing, Tuning, Modeling, Sizing and Capacity Planning.
  • Good Knowledge of Performance Testing, Monitoring and Profiling Tools
  • Good knowledge Cloud Performance Testing
  • Hands on Experience Experience of Performance Testing on different OS platforms
  • Working knowledge DB and tuning (Oracle , SQL Server , DB2, MySQL)
  • Working knowledge of J2EE Technology
  • Good Understanding of Network Protocols Conceptual knowledge of SOA , webservice
  • Conceptual knowledge of multithreaded systems
  • Conceptual knowledge of system architecture and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of any [Perl, Shell , Python] scripting languages is a plus.
  • BE / BTech/ ME/ MTech (Computer Science , Electronics)
