Job Title- President Commercial-SS

About the Job

  • Responsible for leading all commercial activities of Stainless Steel (SS) product lines, including but not limited to raw material procurement, production planning and sales & marketing.

Requirement and Skills: -

Raw Material Procurement

  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for procuring of raw materials and supplies for SS product lines and developing vendor relationships, to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
  • Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities & threats and recommend adjustments to the company’s strategy as needed to minimize impact due to increasing raw material costs Resource Management

Production Planning and Sales

  • Liaise with SS production heads and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and coordination for raw material availability
  • Provided strategic support towards the Minimum Requirements Planning for SS product lines and ensure availability of materials to execute the same.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Maintain sales pipeline for Stainless Steel products to ensure continuous optimum cashflow
  • Lead and manage the sales team, including but not limited to setting periodic targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and negotiate contracts and agreements as necessary.
  • Identify and develop new customer bases.

General Administration:

  • Monitor and manage the financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for the SS product line
  • Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team, including training, and coaching employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Receive and analyze periodic reports for the SS product lines to validate performance figures and develop data-based decisions, recommendations and strategies, as and when required.

Role Requirements: -

Must Have Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Required Experience :

  • 20+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and commercial operations, preferably in stainless Steel industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership role

Functional Skills

  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles, along with procurement, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Deep knowledge of the stainless steel industry and the ability to analyse market trends and competitive activity.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience of leading: Raw material procurement, sales & marketing, or logistics
