If you are passionate about working on the real-world business application on the latest oracle technologies, this is a great team to be part of Responsibilities - Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications
  • Build a fully automated, highly elastic cloud SAAS solution using Oracle Cloud Services & Tools
  • Implement and execute complex business application services for high availability and performance
  • Troubleshoot customer and development issues related to application configuration, load balancing, high availability, performance tuning, etc.
  • Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience with excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJBs), and XML concepts
  • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming and RDMS concepts
  • Java Application Server administration and tuning experience (e.g. Glassfish, Weblogic, Tomcat)
  • Linux administration experience (e.g. RedHat) with a focus on the web (Apache)
  • Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, Servlet/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML
  • Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and explain the Big Picture to others, as well as dive down into the weeds to trouble-shoot and solve specific problems
  • Application clustering/load balancing concepts and technologies
  • Experience working with continuous integration build systems (Hudson, Clearcase) and Tools (ANT) is a plus
  • Experience working with third-party RESTful APIs and Oracle DB is a plus`
  • Working experience in designing complex business applications is a plus
  • Relevant Transportation or Trade Management Domain Knowledge is a plus
  • Good understanding of public cloud design considerations, experience deploying and managing SaaS and PaaS operations is a plus


Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
