ABOUT THE TEAM:
The seal team’s goal is to speed up product delivery. Utilizing best practices across product requirements, UX design, development and testing, the team aims to bring our products to the market faster and continuously improve efficiencies of our delivery.
WHAT YOUâLL DO:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will contribute to speeding up requirement gathering, documentation and approval cycles. You will help manage scope of development in products and projects by liaising with development teams, business stakeholders and product owners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Write and update UI user stories and acceptance criteria by leading discussions with product and business teams.
  • Document backend user stories and acceptance criteria by leading discussions with solutions architects/ dev leads.
  • Translate usability testing outcomes into user stories.
  • Liaison between UX team and product/ business team to steer conversations on UX designs.
  • Create flow diagrams in collaboration with solutions architects and development team.
  • Document roles, rights, and authentication aspect of an application.
  • In collaboration with SCRUM master, optimize stories for sprints in Azure DevOps or similar agile development software.
  • Represent the product or business in daily scrums and clarify ambiguous requirements.
  • Maintain requirement integrity during testing cycles by collaborating with the QA team.
  • Conduct sprint demonstrations to business and product owners.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of sprints and agile development software’s such as Azure DevOps/ JIRA etc.
  • Expertise in writing BRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Expertise in documenting requirements for both UI and backend (DB, API) components.
  • Knowledge of testing phase to help QA teams understand requirements.
  • 5 plus years of experience with at least two requirements-to-launch project cycles.
  • Must have worked in projects or products that created modern web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working with distributed teams.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Comprehend a database schema with purpose of documenting it (does not have to code).
  • Comprehend API request/response with purpose of documenting it (does not have to code).
  • Comprehend caching.
  • Client and server-side components (does not have to code).
  • Product owner, Project management or Scrum certification preferred.
