ABOUT THE TEAM:
RealPage is a leading global provider of software and data analytics for the real estate industry. We are looking to add a QA Engineer to our fast paced SEAL team to primarily help with functional and nonfunctional testing, QA Automation and Performance testing.

WHAT YOUâLL DO:
As a QA Engineer II, you will perform manual and automated testing against BOSS applications, working closely with Product and Engineering teams. This position will report to the QA Manager.
  • Applies software quality practices for testability of products and services using technology (automated testing, scripting, programming)
  • Contributes to test automation frameworks and associated test codes to ensure superb code quality
  • Scope of assignments may cover a broad range and complexity of technologies
  • Continual learning of quality best practices and technologies
  • May help coordinate technical dependencies with other teams
  • Participates in quality activities for complex projects and processes
  • Provides estimates for own deliverables
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Applies software quality practices for testability of products and services using technology (automated testing, scripting, programming)
  • Contributes to test automation frameworks and associated test codes to ensure superb code quality
  • Scope of assignments may cover a broad range and complexity of technologies
  • Continual learning of quality best practices and technologies
  • May help coordinate technical dependencies with other teams
  • Participates in quality activities for complex projects and processes
  • Provides estimates for own deliverables
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development
  • Must have built at least one test automation framework from scratch without any guidance.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience with object oriented programming.
  • Minimum 3 year of working experience with programming language (Java, c-sharp, php).
  • Minimum 3 year of working experience with web services testing for REST and SOAP.
  • Minimum 3 year of working experience with Selenium/Webdriver.
  • Minimum 1 year of automated test drivers such as Junit, TestNG, Nunit, Xunit, etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience of mobile test automation tools like Appium, etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of front-end web application tools (Angular JS, NodeJs, Grunt, Jasmine, etc.).
  • Minimum 1 year of java script programming.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience with build automation tool like Maven, npm, etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience with build management tool like Jenkins, Team Foundation Server, and Azure DevOps (preferred), etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience with Mobile Testing on iOS and Android.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience with performance tools like Jmeter.
  • Knowledge and experience with application performance test plan design.
  • Experience writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Summary reports.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Good understanding of exploratory testing practices
  • Good knowledge of new standard industry tools for logging bugs and managing test cases.
  • Awareness of testing message queue services like JMS.
