This is a Data analyst role, reporting to the Engineering Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to deliver and maintain reports and dashboards for Marketing & Sales function based on consolidated and prioritized demand and the respective delivery roadmap.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with tools team and Data Analytics organization to get required data basis set up.
  • Perform data analysis, understand trends and provide insights to business performance to the senior team.
  • Deliver consolidation of reports and dashboards across the division supporting the approach to standardization.
  • Develop statistical models, performance scores, business rules and help improve business numbers.
  • Support the business by discovering new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Actively identify and communicate data quality improvement potentials.
  • Support business with on-demand data extracts, validations and consistency checks.
  • Documents process, models, designs, solutions and explains, represents and discusses these with stakeholders.

Your background

  • Degree in Engineering from reputed university.
  • Minimum 3 - 6 years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Experience in at least two of the areas- Statistical modeling (Regression, Classification, Time-series forecasting) /Machine Learning /Optimization /Visualization.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SSAS (tabulars) and Snowflake are beneficial
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and techniques, especially those relating to data mining
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets
  • Familiar with data science, business intelligence, data analytics, reporting
  • Knows how to drill down data, visualize data in best possible way through reports and dashboards in order to cover the business requirement
