Finance Specialist- Accounts Payable (AP)

This is a Finance Specialist- Accounts Payable (AP) role, reporting to the Finance Team Lead - AP in Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore. You will be part of the US Accounts payable operations. In your role you will be responsible for all the accounts payable transactions for all US ABB sites.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for all accounts payable transactions.
  • Facilitate trouble shooting of issues as and when required.
  • Ensure regular tracking for all the activity handled by the team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure Internal Controls never fails in your area of business.
  • Ensure Quality and timing of deliverables.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degre in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable processes gained through at least 1-2 years of hands-on operational experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and Basware.
  • Good at building professional relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Analytical and structured, dedicated to show a high service orientation and high-quality performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are a plus.
