Finance Specialist- General Accounting (GA)

This is a Finance Specialist- General Accounting (GA) role, reporting to the Finance Team Lead (GA) in Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore. In this role you will be responsible for providing defined services to the internal customers with best quality in most efficient way.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions.
  • Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies. ·
  • Producing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, and statements of sourcing to assist in financial decision making.
  • Performing month end book closing activities.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries.
  • Experience in Record to Report (R2R) along with SAP is a must.
  • Should be flexible working with shift timings, preferably in US time zone.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge in MS office.
