Roles and Responsibilities

Working in an ambulance round the clock ,attending the emergency call from the hospital and pre hospital .To receive the patient ,assist and stabilized , transport to the hospital to provide reroute emergency care.
Responsible to provide emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipments as per defined protocol.
Has a basic understanding of stress response & methods to ensure personal well-being functions in uncommon situations.
Responsible for the administration of oxygen and Ventilating patients as per situation.
Responsible to Lift the patient stretcher and placing it in the ambulance with proper care and stabilize the patient till they reach hospital.
Assist in lifting and carrying out the patient from the Ambulance to hospital.
Collection of OPD / IPD Ticket No from the hospital.
To receive the patients, asses the general condition and inform the consultant or medical officer on duty.
To ensure safe transfer of critically ill patients in the ambulance.
To check all the emergency equipments and drugs, consumables in every Shift and ensure proper documentation and reporting to the in charge.
To check the oxygen cylinder in every shift ensure the oxygen cylinders is full at all the time.
To check every day the expiry of the drugs and inform to the in charge for replacement of the same
