Job DescriptionJob Description – Oracle Senior Consultant or Consultant
The Role
This individual will join Oracle Global Mobility team, which has the remit of enabling employee mobility in support of the Company’s business worldwide. With a fast expanding global workforce, cost effective, practical mobility solutions form a key part of our management’s resourcing strategy. This individual will be based in Bangalore, India and responsible for the management of global mobility program, working with HR and management in the region and internationally. He/she will play an important role in driving Oracle’s mobility policy and process.

Management to plan and implement international assignments.
This
includes providing consultation, support and guidance to managers/employees throughout the assignment lifecycle; performing assignment compensation reviews; preparing assignment cost projections at all levels; and
applying subject matter expertise on complex assignment,
immigration
, and
relocation matters
.
Develop and maintain partnership with various line of business in-order to:
Ensure clear understanding of business requirements, strategic approach and compliance standards;
Communicate to the business the immigration standards and strategy
Assist in developing communications, training and other material related to Global Mobility compliance
Support the periodic review of the Global Mobility procedures, communications and documentations to ensure up-to-date information and relevance. Identify problem areas and provide recommendations for process improvement.
Coordinate the communication and education programs for HR, Recruiting, Lines of Business, Managers and Employees regarding Oracle
’
s global mobility policies

processes and procedures.
Partner / coordinate with cross functional departments to ensure the success of the mobility programs
,
such as International Tax, Accounts
Payable
,
Travel
,
Payroll
,
etc
.
Ensure employee and corporate compliance with immigration
,
labor
,
employment and tax legislation
(
in partnership with legal
,
tax and local HR).
Maintain
real-time
assignment data
entry in
Global Mobility’s
internal data
system to enable the effective tracking and ongoing management of
assignments
,
and accurate reporting.
Manage Global Mobility vendors to ensure adherence with Oracle
’
s requirements, quality standards and policies to ensure
a
smooth
mobilization
process.
Participate in global / regional / country special project
s related to Global Mobility
May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years professional experience in a Global Mobility, Global Immigration or HR role within a multinational global company
Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field preferred
Working knowledge of international assignment and mobility concepts including assignment allowances, prevailing wage, tax equalization, and shadow payroll
Strong ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written, with the ability to conduct business with managers and employees at all levels
Must be able to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and on own initiative
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Excellent organizational, administrative and planning skills are essential

Join a leading HR group consulting with management and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment).
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. 5 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.
