Job Responsibilities :

  • Carry out activities such as
i. Witnessing of critical stage(s) as per approved ITPs of critical equipment

ii. Coordinate between all the agencies and departments involved for any technical issues such as NCRs/Deviations

iii. Attending quality related meetings and Pre-Inspection Meetings

iv. Resolution of quality related matters at Shop/Site

v. Timely approval of all quality related documents

  • Monitor safe storage (soft/hard copies) of all documentation of following activities
i. TPIAs related documents such as TPIA approvals, Surveyors competencies etc.

ii. Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and deviations sought

iii. Stage inspection reports (witnessed ones)

iv. Meeting records

v. Timely retrieval and provision of documents as and when required

  • Interface with various departments across the organization
i. Ensure coordination with the Site/ Project Teams for obtaining information on any quality issues

ii. Manage relationships with multiple vendors for quality and for timely resolution of issues

iii Ensure coordination with DEC/Core Engineering for quality related issues

Education Requirement :

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Include Additional Certification Required If Any

Necessary :

  • B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/Similar Professional
Desirable :

  • Certification by Professional Bodies like ASNT/ISNT
Experience Requirement :

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Type of roles (and duration) which an individual ideally should have done in his/her prior experience to be detailed

Necessary

  • 5+ years of experience for graduates and 10+ years for Diploma holders in other similar work environment either within or outside large oil and Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical plants
  • The incumbent should have background of Expediting of major mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchanges, columns, pumps and compressors etc.) and bulk items (pipes, flanges, fittings, valves etc.) used in oil & gas and refinery and petrochemical plants
  • Should have a good idea of various stages involved in manufacturing of equipment/items
  • Should have good communication skills
Desirable

  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft office tools

  • Get documents for SQ clearance from expediters and send it back to expediters

  • Get PO and related specifications and documents
  • Check for any pre-order deviations and agreements

  • Obtain information on any quality related issues
DEC

  • Ensure that all requirements are taken care regarding Quality
  • Escalate quality issues, if any
