Job Specification - Intern Cyber Security Operations

Salesforce – the leader in enterprise cloud computing and one of the top 10 places to work according to Fortune magazine – is seeking an Intern to join an exciting new Security Operations team within our world-leading security programme.
The Threat Detection team is the author of all the detections written to detect attacks against Salesforce’s infrastructure and its customers. We work closely with the CSIRT team that responds to our alerts and the engineering team that builds the platforms we rely on.
An Intern will need a passion for learning and developing acute attention to detail, research attack methods and a logical approach to analyse and write detection for attack methods. This role also needs exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), and an ability to quickly understand complex information while recognising familiar elements within complex situations. This position is based in our brand new facility in Hyderabad, India. The role is a key part of our global information security team, involving daily interaction with the Salesforce CSIRT and other security teams, which means fluent English is essential.

Desired Skills & Experience

• College graduate in pre final year of Information Security degree
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM) or Service Cloud
• Familiarity with common web development technologies
