Key responsibilities

  • Deliver Area Strategy for Landside Transportation with focus on delivering, Volumes, Profitability and + EBIT for designated portfolio
  • Develop and drive the establishment of a competitive network for our Transportation product offering, including coordination vendors and delivery
  • Optimize execution approach, define proper break points and conversion targets for Sales
  • Focus on maximizing revenue, EBIT and GP through upselling/cost control
  • Strengthen the engagement with global network and drive value creation for customers
  • Contribute product development information to the budget process and actively engage to establish, communicate, and manage pricing guidelines for sales
  • Build bridges between Product development, Operations and Sales and Customer Experience Management
  • Consistently communicate with sales and current/prospective customer base to understand what the market needs and values are.
  • Negotiate and benchmark vendor rates, participate in RFQs, work closely on procurement of services from partners

We are looking for

  • Masters or equivalent preferred in Business or Supply Chain management
  • Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience in Ocean Freight, Transportation Logistics and/or Warehousing & Distribution
  • Prior experience in 3PL, FTL Transportation, Cross Border will be an advantage
  • Self-starter with commercial acumen
  • Advanced interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design and P&L ownership
  • Demonstrated product portfolio expertise and strategic mindset
  • Ability to identify Customer pain points using qualitative and quantitate data
  • Customer focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to serve customers mindset
  • Ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction
  • Leadership skills with strong stakeholder management
