Maintenance Specialist

This is a Maintenance Specialist, reporting to Maintenance Manager in Business Area Electrification (EL) located in Bangalore and will be responsible for leading the process in maintaining and preserving efficiency of all equipment, production lines/facilities.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of equipment, production lines/facilities like SPM’s (PLC, Lab view and computer based test equipments), fiber laser marking machines, industrial robots, electro pneumatic semi/automated machines.
• Manage and update technical documentation of equipment, production lines/facilities.
• Solve major technical equipment/facilities problems In order to achieve higher performance of the production lines and maintain tools and repair.
• Ensure equipment in good working order.
• Propose improvement project for process and product lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational/energy efficiency.
• Responds to break downs/malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production process.
• Implements health safety and environment guidelines and directives to ensure safety of people and resources.

Your background

• B.E/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in maintenance from switch gear industry.
• Good knowledge of machine/equipment uptime.
• Excellent understanding of MTTR & MTBF.
• Good knowledge of ACB, MCCB, contactor, thermal overload relay, MCB.
