Role

  • Medical affairs category representative on one or more ISC sub category and project teams.
  • Input to and implement the relevant sub-category medical strategy in line with local and global business needs.
  • Support the Head of Medical Affairs and Medical Director(s), ISC in the implementation of the medical governance framework in India.

Provide medical support for R&D, ISC Category Team and business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for medical representation within sub-category team(s).
  • Responsible for implementing medical strategy and associated clinical development/ claim support programs for India consumer healthcare products
  • Responsible for the design, implementation, reporting and publication of clinical studies to support consumer healthcare products in accordance with GSK procedures. Authors claim support summaries for local products as required.
  • Responsible for supporting commercial functions to develop appropriate concepts and consumer communications (including claim innovation)
  • Responsible for implementation and training of medical governance framework including:
    • Scientific engagement policies and practices
    • Review of promotional activities including copy review (as required)
    • Input to relevant medical information responses
    • Initial review of market research proposals and associated documentation
    • Represent medical affairs on compensation teams as required
    • Develop local Medical Affairs SOPs as required
  • Responsible for implementation of scientific education programmes including but not limited to induction for new starters, sales, marketing and consumer relations staff.
  • Responsible for representing GSK at external scientific events including:
    • Presentation of GSK data at conferences
    • Presentation of therapeutic areas at external events (including satellite meetings etc)
  • Develop high-quality relationships with KEEs in therapeutic areas of GSK/TSKF interests.
  • Responsible for assisting with medical due diligence for external opportunities

Responsible for assisting with development of medical content for regulatory submissions

Requirements:

  • MBBS/MD from Tier 1 institute
  • Experience – 3-5 yrs in Ayurveda is preferred
  • Incumbent should have experience in Medical writing, should interact with Medical fraternity
  • Incumbent is expected to set up medical initiatives in collaboration with medical experts
  • Individual Contributor role
