Our Solutions Architects work closely with engineers, product managers and business teams across the organization, putting customers first and making OCI their choice for running and building their business.

Your mission

We want to make sure our customers have the best experience on OCI and our mission is to understand our user base. Our mission is to build a world class data platform to understand our business and customer insights.

In order to do that we need to:
Build solutions white papers and post Blogs on how to build applications on OCI and how to integrate OCI into your current development toolchain. This includes understanding IDEs, Git, Application, Debugging Cloud based Build and Deploy Tools.

Partner with product managers by getting hands on with customers and helping them configure their existing dev workflows and toolchains to build test and deploy using OCI tools and services.

Your DNA and Experience

Experience with popular development tools like Maven, VS Code, VS, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans for building Cloud applications.

Hands on experience using CI/CD tools such as Teamcity, Jenkins, Gitlabs, Github

Software Development Experience in popular programming languages like Java, Dot Net, Python or equivalent

Familiarity with DevOps practices

Passion writing solutions whitepapers that can help multitude of customers.

The successful candidate will have spent approximately 5+ years of their career in engineering or solutions architecture role with a history of publishing blogs or whitepapers.

BS degree required in Computer Science, Math or Engineering.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a member of the solutions architecture team on the Cloud Developer Tools and Services (CDTS) team, you will take an active role in solving customers problems with developing on OCI. You will design, develop, troubleshoot integration of OCI into a customers current development tool chain.

You will identify common patterns between customers and create solutions whitepapers and Blogs on writing applications on OCI.

You will own definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures for Development on OCI. And will frequently work with the Product team to bring new feature requirements and customer feedback to influence the OCI development tools and CICD roadmap.

The Work is non-routine and very complex, involving working with engineers and architects in companies looking to on-board to OCI. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering, solutions architecture or related experience.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
