Oracle is looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager for our 5G/4G portfolio.

Primary responsibilities include:
Specifying technical requirements and working with development teams to translate requirements into features.

Collaborate with the Product Line Management to define product vision and Roadmap.

Support customer engagements and lead technical discussions with MNOs and service providers all around the world.

Key Knowledge Areas:
In depth knowledge of 5G and 4G Signaling Core components

Emerging 5G service based architecture as defined by 3GPP

Knowledge of 4G and 5G protocols and call flows

Cloud Native technologies and Container based deployment models

NFV, Automation and Orchestration

Summary of Qualifications:
Must have 15-20 years of experience working in mobile signaling associated with 4G and/or 5G network functions such as PCF/PCRF, NRF, SCP, AMF/MME, NSSF, CHF, SMF/PGW, SEPP/DSR/DEA etc.

2 Plus years of experience in Cloud Native technologies, Container networking and Container based deployment models is preferrable.

Experience in defining software product requirements for engineering organizations is required.

BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. MS preferred.

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
