Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle’s global infrastructure.

We are looking for a highly technical individual Apps DBA with scripting and automation knowledge to join the Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) team for the supporting the OMCS customers in OMCS and OCI and On Premises. OMCS provides global coverage for their customers workload on cloud pushing the boundaries of what can be accomplished in the cloud. Experience of about 2+ years in Apps EBSO and Database and Weblogic with strong EBS Apps DBA, Refresh/Cloning skills.The analyst must have automation and technical skills that include the following:

  • Apps DBA - a good understanding of the EBSO technology stack for 12.1.3, 12.2.x & WebLogic with experience in Change Management activities like EBS Cloning, apps Patching, Config change, etc)
  • Core Database RDBMS and RAC for all versions with experience in Change Management activities like DB Cloning/duplicate using RMAN, DB Install, DB patching, etc.
  • Knowledge in PDB/CDB database and Knowledge in Backup and Recovery, RMAN, Standby
  • Knowledge in automation scripting is added advantage - Preferred Python
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical discussions to non-technical persons.
  • Candidate should be able to ’think on his/her feet’ and be able to effectively analyze problems.
  • Ready to work in Shifts.
  • Knowledge in OCI or any other Cloud architecture is preferable.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
