Job Description:
An Oracle Senior Apps DBA should be willing to learn and work on Oracle’s leading-edge Oracle APPS and Database Cloud products. The candidate is expected to possess strong technical and communication skills and contribute to the design and development of projects.

6 to 10 years of experience in:
Oracle Apps DBA or Fusion Applications DBA of FMW administrators.

Oracle Cloud Architecture.

Good knowledge and hands on experience in CI, CD DevOps tools: Dockers, Kubernetes, Ansible etc.

Programming and Automation. Example - Python, Perl, Shell and Apex· Analyze source system data to understand the data structures, definitions and anomalies.

Develop, analyze and maintain tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs.

Research and interact with various stake holder and document data ownership, data classifications and data definitions for all subject areas

Knowledge of database normalization data modeling techniques.

Oracle SQL and relational database design skills.

Excellent written and verbal skills are essential-

Primary Skill Set

Oracle Apps DBA / Fusion Applications DBA

DevOps Tools - Dockers, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc

Python, Perl, Shell and Apex

Additional Skill Set

Oracle DBA

FMW components - IDM, OAM, OBIEE, ECM, etc.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of software engineering or related experience needed.

Develop, analyze and maintain tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
