Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling guarantees and stand by letter of credit for Asian entities, including India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea & Taiwan
  • Co-ordinate/work closely with the Middle office, Front office & Relationship managers (Onshore)
  • Be able to work closely with Back office team in meeting the client requirements / expectations
  • Knowledge on LIQ, Finacle & IMEX application would be an advantage.
  • Fully aware of the below trade cycle/flow of transactions, thus enabling/guiding the clients in handling TRADE Transaction
  • Export LC processes (Advising, Amendment, Confirmation, Transfer, and Assignment of proceeds, Negotiation, Document Scrutiny, LC Forfaiting, LC discounting, FX Loans, Reimbursement Claims and payments
  • Import LC processes (Issuance, Amendment, Negotiation, Document Scrutiny, and Import Financing (Trust Receipt Loans), Reimbursement authorization, honor and Acceptance & Payments.
  • Documentary and Clean Collections (Lodging Bills, Acceptance and Payments.)
  • Letter of Guarantee (Issuance, reissuance and Amendment of L/G’s including SBLC (Stand by Letter of Credits)

Profile required

  • At least 7 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in Trade Finance Operations, especially guarantees
  • Exposure towards Asian market is preferable
  • Good knowledge of office automation tools (advanced in Excel (Pivot table), medium in Power point
  • Knowledge of ISP & URDG (Latest version) is a must
  • Working knowledge in LIQ, Finacle & IMEX would be preferred.
  • Knowledge in Compliance regulations ( Anti-boycott languages, Anti-Money laundering, and OFAC - Office of the Foreign Asset Control )

French knowledge would be an added advantage
