This is a Senior DevOps engineer role, reporting to the Technical Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. Your responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment process of microservice Platform (hosted in On Prem & Azure Cloud).
• Contributes to the delivery of ABB’s unique cloud-based software platform for the Industrial Internet of Things.
• Deploys scalable Cloud Infrastructure, created with respect to the best practices and based on the latest components available on market.
• Participates in the whole software development lifecycle from analysis, design via implementation, testing to delivery.
• work with people passionate and excited about the software, cloud, and IoT.

Your background

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
• Required 3 to 5 years of experience in in deployment of distributed systems to PaaS Clouds (with a preference for Azure Cloud).
• Should have experience with CI/CD technologies (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Azure DevOps).
• Should have experience in Infrastructure-as-code approach is your second nature.
• Should have experience in scripting proficiency (e.g. Python, PowerShell).
• Good to have experience with containerized applications (Docker, ideally Kubernetes).
• Should have knowledge about networking, security concepts, and Windows/Linux servers; familiarity with services like SonarQube, Travis CI, Nexus.
