The Database Security R&D team at Oracle is responsible for developing security technologies that provide defense-in-depth for sensitive business data. We pride ourselves in building technologies that are transparent to the applications that use the database, adds negligible overhead, and integrates well with customer’s existing infrastructure. Organizations from Homeland security, Application Cloud Services, financial, defense and healthcare sectors are using offerings from our group to secure and monitor access to their data.

We are working in exciting areas of Security Cloud Services, Data Masking and Subsetting (DMS), Cloud Security, Oracle Key Vault, Securing Big Data, Security Analytics, Data Privacy, Secure Configuration and more. Additional Details

Within Database Security team, you would design and develop security infrastructure for Oracle databases. You will also define, design, develop and deploy Security Solutions as a Service and use Machine Learning techniques to automatically identify Vulnerabilities and Breaches. You will be a both an individual contributor as well as lead a small team of developers providing direction and mentorship.You may also have opportunity to work on Worlds best Audit security infrastructure that helps build most of the analytical data for data mining in Security and associating Intellegince for defence against hackers and other vulnerabilities.

You need to have

BE/B.Tech. or ME/M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from a premier institute

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Development

Experience in Database Internals and Exposure to developing security solutions is preferred

Knowledge and Experience in Big Data and Cloud Development is favored

Sound knowledge of Computer Science areas and fundamentals

Programming experience in C or C++, Java/J2EE on UNIX platforms

Experience in developing one or more of the major relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, IBM DB2, MS SQL server)

Experience in SQL and PL/SQL is a plus

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Knowledge in Oracle Database development is preferred for Oracle internal transfers and for former Oracle employees

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
