Roles and Responsibilities

a) Review of different technologies offer/proposals and prepare comments and deviation reports against the baseline plan.

b) Review of H&MB and PFDs for Polymer Units

c) Participation in PFD and P&IDs review and development.

d) Review of control logic and philosophies.

e) Report on project process engineering technical scope performance against the baseline plan and stated benefits of the project.

f) Seamless co-ordination with various project engineering and project control departments.

g) Suggest value improvement opportunities during the design and execution phase

h) Identify the process engineering deliverables, based on the scope agreed by the project manager and use these as a basis to assist in the provision of project estimates and project execution plan.

i) Responsible for providing the process engineering support to the project Manager to ensure that the project will deliver the required benefits and is fit to purpose.

j) Responsible for ensuring that all process engineering technical scope change is agreed with the project manager prior to implementation through the life of the project.

k) Ensure of all the projects are technically fit for purpose from process engineering perspective and meet the statutory requirements and to provide process engineering input to project governance reviews.

l) Responsible to work in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the process engineering requirements of projects are effectively and technically delivered to meet timeline and budget.

m) Maintain highest HSE standards aiming towards zero incidents.

n) Pre-commissioning and Commissioning planning and execution

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge:

It is desired that the candidate possesses job knowledge to carry out the following:

a. Knowledge of overall polymers and different polymer process technologies. Polymer plants operation knowledge is also necessary.

b. Knowledge of reading and understanding PFDs and P & IDs.

c. Knowledge of generating and reviewing process Specifications and Datasheets.

d. Generate / Review RFQ Documents.

e. Carry out Technical Bid Evaluations in accordance with project specifications and Codes and Standards.

Experience:

8 to 12 years of work experience handling projects preferably in Oil and Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical plants and Operational experience in Polymer units (PE Univation and PP- Novolen experience is additional advantage).
