Roles and Responsibilities

a. Independently review engineering documents in different phases of execution like FEED, BDEP, and EPC.

b. Participation in P & ID review, MSD review, and other engineering documents.

c. Independently handling of different procurement stages of high-value LLI packages like Furnace items, Compressor Turbine packages, Cold Box packages, Extruder, etc.

d. Evaluation of technical offers and preparing TBA and unpriced CBA for high-value LLI packages.

e. Handling of all spare procurement including Capital spares.

f. Participation in constructability study and 3D Model reviews and making contributions in O & M perspective.

g. Mechanical workshop facility development and Maintenance interface zone identification and taking actions in view of long-term reliability issues.

h. Progress monitoring on basis of different selected criteria.

i. Vendor shop visit for assessment/progress review/testing witness of different assets.

j. Integration of all project activities with the present SAP platform.

k. Vendor Selection.

l. Site jobs monitoring and quality control of site activities

m. O & M set up preparation at the later stage of projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

a. Must be from Oil & Gas Industries e.g. Petrochemicals, Refinery, Fertilizer or relevant sector companies.

b. 16-20 years of experience is required.

c. People with Combined experience of running plant operations and project executions are preferred. Greenfield / Brownfield project executions with some pre-commissioning and commissioning experience will be preferred ones.

d. For the present post, the experience of the Ethylene plant is desired but not compulsory.

e. Should be fully aware of operational safety perspectives and construction safety issues from the Client’s point of view.

Knowledge:

a. Minimum knowledge of Continuous running process plants operation philosophy, safety norms, maintenance activities, etc.

b. Reading process P & ID and interpretation of the same.

c. Standard of all rotary equipment, piping metallurgy, welding process, PWHT procedures.

d. Project progress monitoring procedures.

e. Commissioning, pre-commissioning procedures of big continuous running process plants.
