Role Purpose:

Will lead a portfolio for industry PMC for leading and managing a portfolio within a Division with necessary direction of the Divisional General Manager. It will essentially cater to manufacturing industry projects with services delivered in the overall project management consultancy.

PFM will lead and direct the portfolio in order to drive and deliver profitable sustainable growth, alongside managing the day to day operational business.

PFM will be expected to act as an ambassador and voice for Mott MacDonald within the geography and sectors they operate, articulating and representing the brand, vision and value proposition, and be responsible for managing several complex relationships and priorities.

Job Profile

• Develop and Lead operations within the Portfolio by working with key stakeholders to develop strategic business plans and budgets in due consultation with AL, PL and RM..
• Grow and nurture external relationships with key clients. Assist ALs in finalising and implementing CEPs for Key Accounts.
• Be accountable for overall delivery of budgetary targets for revenue, sales and BD spend through the effective monitoring and tracking of projects and delivery.
• Act as Bid Principal in developing and implementing winning strategy.
• Preposition MM for PMC opportunities suitably among the key stakeholders.
• Evolve and implement a strategy with clear action plans to enhance brand image and differentiate from competition
• Assist Practice Leader in implementing Practice Plan, which will help the business in becoming more efficient
• Lead as PP or support PPs in managing on-going projects – profitability, change orders, stakeholder management, working capital.
• Ensure adequate staffing as per business with utilisation as per budget with necessary support from RM, EM, CM, DLs.
• Monitor performance of CM Leader, BD Managers, Project Managers and give timely feedback to improve performance.
• Identifying the emerging risks and opportunities on projects and escalate to DGM with right strategies to mitigate.
• Enhance staff engagement in talent management, improving staff morale and productivity improvement.
• Develop strong team with clear succession plan
• Implement MM’s BMS systems with full compliance in letter and spirit.
• Ensure the delivery teams are aligned to overall H&S on projects with right reporting and analysis to further improve on concurrent basis.

Desired Qualification and Experience

• Preferably MBA/ Bachelor’s in mechanical/Civil in from a reputed university.
• Over 25 years of experience in winning and delivering PMC projects in the industry sector.
• Should have handled large multi-year project portfolio with annual turnover of INR 200m+
• Has led a team of 150+ staff
