ABOUT THE TEAM:
Linux DBA supports all the products having databases like Oracle/Mysql/Postgres/DB2/Mongo.
Team is responsible for maintaining and administering critical client data.

WHAT YOUâLL DO:
This Job Title entitles work realated to maintaning all the database and performing regular activities
related installation,backup,performance,storage of databases and providing client support to resolve issues in timely manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities will include but no limited to :
You will implement changes to production database systems in assistance of application deployments
Install, configure and administer Linux database technology (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Perform database development support and administration tasks.
Perform day-to-day database administration.
Evaluate and monitor databases to identify performance issues
Implement and support database backup and recovery procedures.
Aid customers and other staff members in resolving errors resulting from the use of applications.
Recognize and analyze trends in errors with Senior DBA’s to identify and install long term solutions to problems.
Provide On-Call Support on a rotation basis
Minimum 4-7 years of proven experience of Open Source Database Administration (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) on Linux/Unix OS
Must have hands on operational experience in managing one of the Open source database technologies.
Must have strong Linux/Unix skills to include script writing. AWS Knowledge is preferable.
Knowledge in working with Oracle Support.
