You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging

of software applications for Oracle Database Service in the cloud & infrastructure.

Strong Java / Python programming experience including various frameworks Hibernate, ORM, REST, Multi-Threaded, Networking, etc

Good knowledge of Database concepts & Linux is required.

Knowledge of installation / patching / backup & recovery of Oracle DB products (Oracle Grid Infrastructure / Oracle DB) preferred.

Ability to multi-task and deal with shifting priorities.

Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2 years of software engineering or related experience.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
